15+ years of professional experience as an Investor, Founder, and Mentor.
My purpose is to help create opportunities for others.
Why?
Humans have amazing potential, but not everyone has access to the same opportunities.
I want to help young people achieve financial independence by doing what they love.
My name is Eduardo. Born in Mexico City, I’ve been extremely lucky, having access to the best life experiences and educational opportunities.
I want to share all of what I have learned.
Since I was 8 years old, I’ve attended countless summer camps in the US, learning how to play golf and tennis. I spent two years during middle school at Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, Massachusetts. At 16, I co-founded a non-profit organization (where I worked until I turned 27) promoting volunteer work in communities in extreme poverty in Mexico and Central America.
During college, I spent 6 months in Sydney, Australia studying Negotiation and Finance at the University of New South Wales. At 27, just after getting married, I did An MBA at London Business School in London, England.
I’ve worked at top-tier, global firms, allowing me to build quality relationships with the CEOs, Founders, and Managing Directors of all sorts of companies. At 32, I decided to quit my Private Equity job to start an ed-tech company in order to increase access and improve the quality of education for children 3-12 years old.
I’ve traveled the world, meeting hundreds of people from different backgrounds who have enriched my life in unexpected ways.
BuildCompanies.co is my new project through which I want to empower, teach, and mentor young people so that they can achieve financial independence by doing what they love.
